Efie Louise Allen Slaughter Johnson, 92 was born November 20, 1933 in Waco, Texas. She was the daughter

of Sam Allen and Mable Ross Allen. Her siblings included Ulysses Julius Allen, Lottie May Allen, Ethel Allen,

Nancy Allen and Roy Franklin Allen. On August 26, 1956, Louise married Lawrence C. Slaughter, with whom

she shared a son, Larry Slaughter. She later married Francis M. Johnson Ill in 2008 and remained his wife until his passing in 2012.

Louise served as a nurse for Providence Health before becoming a teacher with the Waco Independent School District from 1985 to 1996.

She enjoyed fellowshipping throughout the community, and was also a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Distinguished

Widowed Women's Club of Waco. Louise passed away on August 20, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lawrence C. Slaughter

and Francis M. Johnson I, her parents, Sam and Mable Allen; and five of her six siblings.

Louise is survived by her son and his wife, Larry and Astrid Slaughter; her granddaughters, Ava and Ari Slaughter; her sister, Nancy Johnson,

and a loving extended family and community of friends.
