LIFE REFLECTIONS

Nellie Mae Floyd was born November 22,

1929 in Centerville, Texas, to the parents of

Charlic Rand Mahalie Robinson. She attended

school at Spring Creek. She loved gardening,

cooking for family and community. Nellie loved

taking care of her children, grandchildren,

neighbors, friends and the elderly. She could do

a little of everything and loved fishing.

Nellie was united in marriage to Lee Lacy

Davis. She later met and married Charlie Floyd

until his death in 2016. They shared many

wonderful memories together.

Nellie Mae Floyd is preceded in death by

her siblings, Vannie Hodge, A.V. Benson, Otha

Benson; her children, Larry Davis, Robert

Davis, Earcie Brown Danny Davis, Lizzie

Jackson; three still born babies; grandchildren.

Martel Sanders, Kim Sanders, LaCedrick

Lucas; and four great grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her

children, Beverly Garner, Sandra Seals.

Cathy Davis, Vincent Davis, Stacey Jones.

She also leaves 41 grandchildren, 54

great-grandchildren, and 48 great-great-

grandchildren. Nellie also leaves to cherish her

memories one niece, Jessica Evans, who loved

her Aunt Nellie; and also a host of cousins, family and friends.
